Townsend Street will be CLOSED to traffic due to construction in the area of the underpass the majority of today (Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026.)

Road Closed signs have been posted north and south of the underpass. Please use an alternate route.

There will be the following meetings taking place in council room chambers at 5:00pm.

Committee of the Whole meeting – February 17th @ 5:00pm – to discuss cybersecurity legislation

Sidewalk Commission meeting- March 3rd @ 5:00pm – to discuss future commission members and meetings

Safety/Police Committee meeting- March 17th @ 5:00pm- to discuss flock security system

There will be a cemetery committee meeting held at 5:00pm in council room chambers to discuss the future expansion of the cemetery.

There will be a committee of the whole meeting held in council room chambers at 5:00pm on January 13th 2026.

This meeting is to review compensation for Village of Greenwich employees.

We are currently in the process of updating records in our income tax software.

During this process there will be letters going out to individuals for the tax years of 2023 and 2024. If you receive a letter stating we have not received information for these years, we ask to PLEASE do not ignore this letter.

Please reach out to inquire why you are receiving this letter or drop of/mail in the necessary paperwork that is being requested.

These letters could be received if you have ever lived OR worked in the Village of Greenwich. The Village of Greenwich does not know everyone’s personal situation unless we are advised of the information needed.   

Please help us ensure that only those necessary receive any future assessments.

There will be a park committee meeting at 5:00pm on January 6th to discuss future plans for the park, including but not limited to the Gathering Grove Community Recreation Center.

There is a regular scheduled council meeting starting at 6:00pm.
