If you have received a Traffic Camera Violation, please read the information below.
NOTICE OF LIABILITY
Please take notice that the vehicle described and pictured on your violation was detected and recorded by a speed monitoring system as being in violation of Section 434.03(b)(2) of the Ordinances of the Village of Greenwich, Ohio. The pictured vehicle was traveling at the speed listed on your Citation, at the place, date, and time specified. Therefore as the registered owner of this vehicle you are liable for the violation. Unless you elect an administrative hearing, a civil penalty in the amount of $100.00 must be paid by the due date shown on this notice. This citation is not considered a moving violation.
PAYMENT OF THE PENALTY AMOUNT FOR THE VIOLATION WILL NOT RESULT IN POINTS AND CANNOT BE USED TO INCREASE YOUR INSURANCE RATES.
WARNING: FAILURE TO PAY THE PENALTY, OR FAILURE TO CONTEST LIABILITY AS INSTRUCTED IN THIS NOTICE IS AN ADMISSION OF LIABILITY.
The recorded images are evidence of a violation of the above cited Law prohibiting exceeding the maximum posted speed limit. If you contest this Notice and are found liable at the administrative hearing, you may be assessed an additional $25 hearing fee. Hearing decisions may be appealed to the Court of Common Pleas.
Speed Monitoring Notice of Liability
A vehicle, registered or leased to you, was photographed by an automatic camera connected to a speed monitoring system. Vehicles exceeding the posted speed limit are detected automatically and two photographs are taken. Superimposed on each photograph are the date, time, location, and speed of the vehicle when the violation occurred.
TO REQUEST A HEARING DATE You may request to appear before a Hearing Officer by completing the completed form below prior to the “Due Date” shown on the front of this notice. If you do not receive notification within 30 days, call 1 (866) 979-4824 I TTY dial 711. If found not liable at the Hearing, the hearing fee may be dismissed.
STOLEN VEHICLE OR REGISTRATION PLATE Prior to the “Due Date” shown on the front of this notice, mail a copy of the notice of liability and a copy of the police report to the Village of Greenwich, PO Box 932749, Cleveland, OH, 44193.

TRANSFER OF LIABILITY If you, as the registered owner, were not operating the vehicle at the time of this infraction and you choose to identity the person who was, you and the vehicle operator shall complete and mail the notarized TRANSFER OF LIABILITY AFFIDAVIT form (included with your citation) to the Village of Greenwich, PO Box 932749, Cleveland, OH, 44193, by the due date.
WARNING: You must pay or contest this notice by the due date noted below. or late fees will be assessed and ultimately a civil or collections action against the owner of the vehicle. An additional late fee of ($25.00 will be assessed at 30 Days and an additional late fee of ($45.00 will be assessed at 45 Days.
