TAX CHANGE

NOTICE TO ALL GREENWICH RESIDENTS, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE TAX LAWS HAVE CHANGED. THE 1% CREDIT TO OTHER CITIES HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN AND EFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2023 YOU WILL NEED TO PAY A 1% TAX RATE TO GREENWICH. IT IS MANDATORY FOR EVERY RESIDENT TO FILE TAXES IN GREENWICH EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INCOME. PLEASE INFORM YOUR EMPLOYERS NOW TO SEE IF THEY WILL START A COURTESY WITHHOLDING TO GREENWICH ON YOUR BEHALF OF 1%. THANK YOU
